it's about time we took seriously our walk with Christ?

And in order to embrace what is real and of Christ, we first need to take a minute or two and
look at what is NOT real and what is NOT
of Christ and, obviously, what is NOT found
anywhere in the pages of Scripture.

Question:
"Hey, I've got a quick question for you. With all
the confusion about spiritual gifts, how can we tell the
difference? You know, the "slap on the forehead"
and the "slain in the spirit stuff"... is that like for
real? Cause it looks pretty strange to me."
Answer: Well, if you really want to
know how to tell the difference between true spiritual
gifts and... uh, ka-ka, you'll have to spend some time
with us as we examine 1 Corinthians. You got the
time? We sure do. It's gonna be quite a
ride!
Question:
What is a defining moment? And what does it
have to do with
stretchy pants?
Answer: Are you serious? Have
you never experienced a defining moment in your
life that defines who you were and who you
will become? Have you never faced the
proverbial "fork in the road" that leads to two entirely
different futures? Have you never had to make a
defining moment choice in your spiritual journey?
You know, the "as for me and my house..." kind of
choices.Oh, and a
defining moment has absolutely nothing
to do with
stretchy pants...just in case you were still
wondering.Ahem. Let's talk
about it, shall we?
